AFRIQUE du NORD et ORIENT, XIXe-XXe siècle Set of six oriental Koranic and religious manuscripts: Manuscripts on paper including: 1) Dala'il al-khayrat, 10 lines per page in Maghribi script, and polychrome illuminations, with red-ribboned binding and case (10 x 11.5 cm), text incomplete, miniatures missing, missing and accidents ; 2) Maghreb religious manuscript, 8 lines per page in Sudani script in red frame, brown leather binding, (18.5 x 16 cm), very damaged and incomplete; 3) Maghrebian manuscript, 14 lines per page in black and red Maghribi script, with illuminated title and signed colophon, bound in red morocco with stamped and gilded decoration (20.5 x 15.5 cm), worn and missing; 4) Unbound part of Qur'an, 7 lines of text, bound in red morocco (22.5 x 18.5 cm), accidents and missing parts; 5) Part of Qur'an with illuminated first page (rebacked), and beautiful floral branch composition on gilded background on last page, modern brown leather binding with stamped decoration (18.5 x 12 cm), incomplete, restored; 6) Koran, 15 lines of text in a red frame, illuminated and gilded double frontispiece, signed colophon, brown morocco binding with stamped and gilded decoration (18 x 12.5 cm) probably badly reassembled and incomplete, damaged.
