Wraparound iron guard with single quillon, repainted in black.
Curved, flat-backed blade, engraved "Manufre Rle de Châtellerault Xbre 1839", with a large hollow edge and a single cutting edge, with traces of an engraved anchor on each side.
Possible reassembly.
Blade length : 68 m. - Total length : 81.5 cm.
Without scabbard.
Blade cleaned, with traces of oxidation.
