Officer's saber type "Petit Montmorency". Gilt brass guard with a large openwork branch of rings and ovals, with serrated profiles, extending to the plate, decorated with a small shell. Formerly with second branch or revolving guard (missing). Without blade spring of maintenance. Long-tailed cap with lion head pommel. Handle covered with basane with brass filigree. Blade slightly curved, without decoration, with flat back, two hollow sides and two gutters, with edge and counter-edge towards the point. Blade length : 72.3 cm - Total length : 85.8 cm. Without scabbard. Wear to the gilding, notably to the lion's head; small tear to the plate; small accidents to the basane; oxidation to the blade and corrosion to the point, with some shocks.
