Pair of small flintlock pistols. Plates, signed "G. SORNAT" on the low bevels, and flat-bodied hammers with inlaid brass plates engraved with scrolls. Round barrels, then with two small side panels towards the thunder with engraved decoration with inlays of brass, of which a profile of man in bust. Smooth. Cal. 10 mm. Shafts and stocks in molded walnut. Brass fittings, such as counterplates, bridges and pommels with splints decorated with nets, stylized interlacing, military trophies, scrolls and profiles in medallions, some in applied silver. Screw of dog in continuation. ITALY, Brescia, first half of the 18th century. Brass capucines cut and engraved with flowers and partially openwork, reported. Length of the barrels : 12.6 cm - Total length : 24 cm. Without sticks; one hammer missing. Average condition: wear, shocks; wormholes, sanded wood, some cracks and chips; old restorations; worn profiles; accidents to some fittings; oxidation.
