CHINE - XIXème siècle
Two celadon and grey nephrite fibulas, one with cicada decoration in relief, the other with flower decoration in relief, the hooks in the form of dragon heads. Length : 8,8 and 9,5 cm. Provenance: Joseph Buisson Collection, Engineer of the Mines of Saint Etienne, acquired during a study trip to China in the 1920s. Joseph Buisson participated in a scientific expedition led by the State to survey the possibilities of concession and exploitation of deposits in China and Japan. In the 1930s, he then managed the coal mining concession in Zongouldak, Turkey.
