Claudel", 1927-1932, to François MONOD; 2 oblong in-8 pages on the letterhead of the French Embassy in Japan with envelope, and 1 in-8 page on the letterhead of the Château de Brangues (small crack). Amusing letter from Japan about his possible candidacy to the Academy. January 8, 1927. He has not forgotten his reception in Washington.
