Troop saber of light Cavalry, model An XI. Wooden fuse sheathed in basane fixed by two half brass olives. Brass guard "à la chasseur" with three branches, one stamped "FR". Ears in shuttle and curved quillon, buckled. Long-tailed cap. Curved blade with one edge, hollow side and flat back, engraved DARISONT (?), stamped "FR". Scabbard in iron sheet metal with two bracelets. Blade length : 85.5 cm - Total length : 104.5 cm. Wear and tear, with small lacks, to the leather of the fuse, detached from the tail of the cap; a restored auricle (part welded with contribution); oxidations, scratches and shocks to the blade and to the scabbard, with tears to the latter.
