Bronze and brass terminal clock gilded with matte and bright, topped with the figure of Cleopatra draped giving death with an asp. Bollard in degrees decorated with two Egyptian lions leaning against the white enamelled dial, marked "à Paris", with indexes with Roman numerals for the hours and dashes and quarters in Arabic numerals for the minutes. Framed by a smoking Athenian tripod with lion heads and snake and a flowery basket on a column shaft. Rectangular base with rounded ends, resting on six small spinning top feet with a frieze of palmettes, decorated with two garlands with owls and a bas-relief representing Cleopatra in bed, with the following, Mark Antony and officers, the bust of Julius Caesar. Mechanical movement with key winding, wire suspension. Consulate or Empire period. H. : 49 cm - L. : 36 cm - D. : 11.2 cm. Missing back glass. Shock to a needle; movement to be revised, small needle not driven. Chips and restoration to a keyhole; spots of oxidation.
