"L'abbé Bignon", Paris 1717-1729; 3 pages in-fol. and 2 pages in-4, one address with red wax seal of arms. February 23, 1717, to Monseigneur, reporting on his mission to the Duke of Orleans concerning Sieur SARRAZIN, "Medecin entretenu par le Roy au Canada", correspondent of the Academy of Sciences to which he promises "the Description and anatomy of two rare animals, the Vache Marine and the Rat Musqué"; the Duke of Orleans has approved the increase proposed by MM. de Vaudreuil and Begon July 27, 1729, to M. Dorigny, business letter on a negotiation with M. de Caumartin, tithes, etc. 2 P.S., 1705-1738, including a receipt for the value of "antique and modern medals" in the estate of the deceased Mme de Verthamon, née Bignon; and 4 engraved portraits. Plus 3 l.a.s. and 2 p.s. from his nephew and successor at the Academy, Armand-Jérôme BIGNON, 1765-1773. Plus a l.a.s. from a homonym (1711).
