Some edges of plates with a few small red dye runs from the edges. Mottling, staining, soiling; some handwritten inscriptions. First French edition of an English work originally published in England 1750. Provenance: Library of Auguste VERNEUIL (1856-1913), inventor of synthetic ruby.
