18 autograph MUSICAL MANUSCRIPTS, signed "Ch. Gounod" or "Charles Gounod," 1871-1872; ca. 62 folio pages or various sizes (mostly cut out for printing and reattached with gummed paper). Set of choirs composed by Gounod for his concerts at the Royal Albert Hall. These choirs for 4 mixed voices with organ (or a cappella) were composed or arranged for the choir of the new Royal Albert Hall that Gounod conducted during several concerts, in the winter of 1871-1872.
