A gilt bronze clock with a circular case framed by lions' heads with mobile rings in drapery, topped by a vase on a pedestal with two handles and garlands, and supported by four leaning foliage scrolls, separated by gilt brass latticework decorated with a large garland and two laurel leaf falls. Base with springs underlined by gadroons, with a double scroll front with a foliated base and laurel branches on a squared background, resting on four angular fluted feet. Dial with twelve white enamelled cartouches, blue Roman numeral indexes for the hours, and centred with a gilt bronze medallion decorated with foliate scrolls. Mechanical movement with key winding, with plate marked H & F Paris For Charles HOU and FORIN, associated in 1890, and numbered 5263. Brocot hanging.
