An ebony veneered toiletry case with brass fillets and angle irons, the lid decorated with a figured cartouche under a marquis's crown, with an inner tray and a bellows on the reverse of the lid, comprising: - Three flasks and seven boxes, of various sizes, in cut glass, silver stoppers and lids (950). The set is numbered, with chased radiating or openwork decoration of flowering scrolls. - A retractable shaving brush, screwable on a silver scabbard (950). Total gross weight : 2245 g. - H. bottles : 10.3 cm. - H. boxes : 7.5 cm (x2); 3.5 and 4 cm (x5) One glass stopper damaged, missing a threaded ring, small chips. - Set of utensils including a slider, two razors, a penknife, a toothpick, a pair of scissors, tweezers, a file... Some ivory plate handles (Elephantidae spp; < 20%) (pre-Convention). Total gross weight (for the ivory): 215 g. One penknife reported, the file damaged. Interior in purple velvet and leather, past. Signed on the lock. 15 x 29.5 x 22 cm. Some cracks and accidents, notably to the brass fillet, scratches. In its protective taupe leather pouch, with three straps, two of which are on the front. Numerous scratches, damaged leather, one strap damaged. The presented lot containing less than 20% worked Elephantidae spp (I/A) ivory, pre-Convention, prior to March 3, 1947 and thus in conformity with the EC Rule 338/97 of 09/12/1996 art.2-Wmc, the French decrees of August 16, 2016 modified and of May 4, 2017, is on free sale. For an exit of the European Union, a CITES certificate of re-export will be necessary, this one being at the expense of the future purchaser. The delivery of such a document is not automatic. For a possible re-export, it will be up to the buyer to get information - before any purchase - from the customs of the country concerned, especially if it is the United States.
