A quadripod lyre clock, veneered with marine turtle shell (Chelonioidea spp) (pre-Convention) and shell-like, with chased and gilt bronze decoration forming foliage, balance set with rhinestones. It stands on gilt bronze claw feet. Polychrome enamel dial with Arabic numerals and garlands of flowers. Mechanical movement with key winding, placed in the balance wheel. H. 30 cm. Accidents and cracks to the veneer, wear to the patina. Specimen in tortoiseshell Chelonioidea spp (I/A) pre-Convention, prior to June 1, 1947 and therefore in compliance with EC Regulation 338/97 of 09/12/1996 art.2-Wmc. For a possible export, it will be up to the future buyer to inquire - before any purchase - with the customs of the country concerned, particularly if it is the United States. For an exit from the European Union, a CITES re-export will be necessary, this one being at the charge of the future buyer.
