FRANCE, Style Louis XVI, seconde moitié du XIXème siècle.
Important clock in regula with golden patina representing a female allegory with a book and a crown of flowers, leaning on the dial. Oblong base decorated with friezes of rosettes, laurel, garlands of flowers held by rings, canals and resting on four feet. The dial is enamelled black on a white background, with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes. Marked on the back of the base "PH. MOUREY 63". 42 x 54 x 18 cm. Dial glass and door at the back of the mechanism missing, a foot and a ring motif to be reattached, wear and patina defects.
