Manufacture Impériale de SAINT-ETIENNE GRAS infantry rifle, model 1866-74, M80. Rifled barrel. Adjustable riser. Markings "S. 1868" and "S. 78" and N° "H. 85251". Iron fittings. Walnut shaft. Macaron on the stick "August 1882". Iron ramrod. Length of the barrel: 82.5 cm. Barrel: 82,5 cm Total length: 130,4 cm. Cleaned weapon. Some shocks and scratches to the wood. Play in the breech. Barrel filled with grease. Gun of collection classified D. With a GRAS bayonet-saber, model 1874. Markings "Manuf. de Chatlt, Jan. 1875" and No. "A 12788". Blackened sheet metal scabbard. Wear, oxidation and small chips to the wooden plates.
