RARE Hélianthe flower hanging lamp. In green sheet metal, gilded and patinated metal, in a crystal vase cut with leafy branches, carried by four pine cones. Rotating dial, the index of the hours in the shape of insect. Spiral movement signed "PLANCHON à Paris", numbered "G371". Late 19th century. Attributed to BACCARAT. H. 67 cm - W 22 cm. Ground neck, some twisted leaves and petals, dusty movement (no guarantee). Mathieu Planchon (1842-1921) trained with his father and then, in 1868, with Robert-Houdin. He settled in 1880 in rue Vieille du Temple, then in the Palais Royal from 1870 to 1921. A similar clock, by Baccarat and Planchon: lot 417 of the Sotheby's sale of 19 April 2016.
