Two centerfire pistols. Leclercq-type locks, hammers, rockers and opening pedal keys engraved with foliage. Blued, signed, wide-rifled, octagonal barrels (one fluted, numbered 2 in thunder) with extractors. Gauges 10 mm. Ebony or walnut stocks and lugs, squared; those in ebony carved with fleurons and leaves. Notches in the stocks for a possible extension. Steel fittings, finger rests and a moulded and screwed cap, the other in brown horn, screwed. Second half of the 19th century. Barrel length: 25,9 or 25 cm - Total length: 41,3 or 41 cm. Worn patina, scratches and shocks, oxidation; missing chip under the pedal key (ebony); rotating crack on the horn pommel and paint stain on the muzzle (walnut). Weapon classified in category D2. Emile Henry FAURE LE PAGE. (1840-1929), harquebusier and furbisher active in Paris between 1865 and 1913.
