Pair of capsule percussion dueling pistols. Scroll engraved locks and hammers. Large rifled, octagonal, patinated barrels, signed. Numbered below 752-71. Caliber 11 mm. Dark walnut shafts carved with a lion's head under the barrel, with finely squared stocks. Cut steel fittings engraved with scrolls, trigger guard with finger rest and oval pommel with toupie. Second half of the 19th century. Length of the barrels: 25,2 cm - Total length: 40,5 cm. Some scratches on the wood; pitting and oxidation on the muzzle and front sight of a barrel; the spring of a hammer to be revised (does not hold cocked) In its mahogany case with brass fillets and cartouche, lined with green velvet, stamped with the name of the House, with exotic wood accessories, some of which have been added (bullet tongs, mallet, pod). 8 x 45,5 x 26,5 cm. Scratches, accidents, especially at the bottom, and missing pieces (fillets, key) to the box; stained interior.
