Hunting harquebus. Lock with internal wheel, signed "Joseph MI.... In Pafsau" in a frame of engraved rocaille. Octagonal barrel, with rifled bore, with cut-out iron sights. Long walnut barrel, traditional stock carved in relief with scrolls and inlaid with cut-out brass motifs, the drawer en suite. Horn buttplate. Cut-out brass fittings engraved with hunting scenes with finger rests; counterplate en suite. With a horn-tipped ramrod and an engraved iron spinning wheel key (with two squares). End of the 17th or beginning of the 18th century. Barrel length: 80.7 cm - Total length: 112.5 cm - Key length: 17 cm. Sighting eyepiece missing. Mechanics to be revised. Scratches, shocks, cracks, accidents and restorations of use, in particular under the barrel. Accidental and incomplete butt plate. Traces of red paint on the stock.
