A blackened wood veneer and inlaid sea turtle (Chelonioidea spp) (pre-Convention) game table on a red background, decorated with scrolls, foliage and palmettes, with curved sides, resting on four arched legs. The top is folding and turning, centered on a marine chariot under a canopy, and lined with green leather gilded with iron, in an ornamented frame. Ornamentation in gilt bronze, such as: mouldings, masks, falls with women, chamfers and hooves. Mahogany veneered interior. Louis XV style. 77.5 x 89.5 x 47 cm. Some scratches, shocks, lifts and missing pieces. Specimens in tortoiseshell Chelonioidea spp (I/A) pre-Convention, prior to June 1, 1947 and therefore in compliance with EC Regulation 338/97 of 09/12/1996 art.2-Wmc. For a possible export, it will be up to the future buyer to inquire - before any purchase - with the customs of the country concerned, particularly if it is the United States. For an exit from the European Union, a CITES re-export will be necessary, this one being at the charge of the future buyer.
