CHAMPAGNE AR LENOBLE A box of the Cuvée Gentilhomme Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs 2013 : This Champagne is the little jewel of the House of AR Lenoble; a pure Chardonnay from the vineyards of Chouilly, one of the 6 Grand Cru villages of the famous Côte des Blancs. This cuvée is elaborated from grapes coming from the most beautiful plots of this great terroir, harvested during the 2013 harvest. This Grand Vin de Champagne has a golden, luminous colour with very fine bubbles, proof of a long ageing process. On the palate, it reveals the full range of its aromatic richness with notes of white fruit, vanilla and light spices evolving towards a precise and very airy finish. This exceptional champagne, with its complexity and delicacy, is an elegant aperitif and goes harmoniously with a veal chop, Bresse poultry or simple pasta with parmesan cheese, and sublimates a Comté 24 months. This Cuvée Prestige is a surprising discovery that combines finesse and delicacy. The House of AR Lenoble has 18 hectares of exceptional vineyards, mainly located in Chouilly, a village classified Grand Cru of the Côte des Blancs and in Bisseuil, classified Premier Cru of the Montagne de Reims. For 20 years, Anne and Antoine Malassagne, the great-grandchildren of the founder, have been working towards a more virtuous, more reasoned and more environmentally friendly viticulture. The vine, a stronger product of this new culture, and the much better quality grapes have earned this House the distinction of being one of the first Champagne vineyards to be certified High Environmental Value in 2012. This approach in the vineyard has been accompanied by strong decisions in vinification with the maturing of reserve wines in magnum. A rare and costly winemaking process, which today is the hallmark of the AR Lenoble Champagnes, giving them aromatic fullness, freshness and precision.
