CHAMPAGNE LAURENT-PERRIER A visit of the Estate and Tasting around Grand Siècle for 2 persons: Discover one of the most prestigious champagne estates and taste the exceptional Grand Siècle vintages by Laurent-Perrier. The famous family House, founded in 1812, invites you to live a privileged and totally unique moment in the heart of its Domain located in Tours-sur-Marne (Maison Laurent-Perrier is not open to the general public). This picturesque village, the cradle of the brand, is ideally located at the crossroads of the three main wine-growing regions of the Marne, the Montagne de Reims, the Marne Valley and the Côte des Blancs, and is one of the 17 communes classified as Grand Cru in Champagne. It owes the quality of its wines to exceptional winemaking techniques that allow each grape variety and each terroir to express its typicity in the blends, and to high-tech equipment that it pioneered and that has improved the preservation of the freshness and aromas of its Grand Crus. You will have the privilege of touring the cellars of the House and discovering the maze of immense wine-making facilities renovated by the famous architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, in honour of the bicentenary of the House. You will also discover the new Grand Siècle winery, the renovated old concrete cellars, and the Grand Gallery, which has been re-lit. Your visit will continue with a tasting in the room dedicated to Grand Siècle cuvées, all in black and silver, reminiscent of the labels of Grand Siècle magnums. Created in 1959 by Bernard de Nonancourt, the idea of Grand Siècle is based on an observation: nature will probably never give us the perfect oenological year, but the art of blending can make it possible to recreate it, with each new iteration. L'intégralité des fonds collectés par Drouot Estimations sera reversée à l’association Zazakely Sambatra.
