Montval paper, illustrated with an original lithograph by Picasso in red and black on the plates and spine. The set is protected by a folder titled in red half-maroquin with stripes; names of the author, illustrator, title and spine proofs in gold letters. Edged case (Semet & Plumelle).
- Portrait of Max Jacob in lithograph on transfer paper, serving as frontispiece to the work (180 x 242 mm), on double sheet (the second sheet is blank), bearing the autograph mention of the painter in pencil: "Bon à tirer / Picasso / Cannes le 10.9.56";
- 3 original drypoints on Montval laid paper, each bearing the autograph mention in ballpoint pen: "Bon à tirer: Picasso".
It is attached on a sheet of wrapping paper this note autographed in red and blue pencil by Picasso: "Epreuves Broder Max et Paul". ».
