The Hundred Years War Book Autograph manuscript and original drawings Grand in-4, ebony morocco, dishes decorated with a decoration of horns, spears and banners, morocco mosaic and box of several colors, dark and bright, smooth spine, Edge-to-edge lining and brown calf guards decorated with polka dots, double L's, stars and double C's in mosaic polychrome and a large central gilded shield, gilt edges on witnesses, cover, ebony half-marquin shirt with folded bands, case (Paul Bonet, 1946). (A few very slight skin marks, slightly faded shirt with a lack of paper at one corner, case a little rubbed). Autograph manuscript of the Chronicle of the Hundred Years War, known as the Chronicle of Nicolas Baudouyn, archer in the hundred guards of Captain Polifer by Pierre Mac Orlan (14 pages on fine paper mounted on a mat, in black ink and decorated with small watercolour drawings). It ends with a mention signed by the author: "For certified copy including the illuminations of this manuscript". Mac Orlan's text is preceded and followed by 47 original drawings by Gus Bofa on fine paper mounted on a passe-partout, in black pencil enhanced with white and red gouache, most full-page and 5 double-page, carefully captioned. The first one represents "Pierre Mac Orlan in war harness and his compaing Gus Bofa, 2nd class stropiat". This pamphlet by Pierre Mac Orlan illustrated by Gus Bofa, disguising the combatants of the Great War in the clothes of the soldiers of the Hundred Years' War, was published in Paris in 1921 under the title Le Livre de la guerre de Cent Ans.
