ART ROMAIN, Ier siècle
Slightly three-quarter right female head representing a woman. The realistic features are very marked. The hairstyle is particularly complex: at the front, it is composed of circular curls held in place by a triple braid that holds the hair at the back of the head. This hairstyle can be compared to those of the time of Agrippina the Younger. The eyebrows are indicated by stripes. White marble with a beige patina. Crack at the base of the neck, general wear and tear and shocks, partly missing nose, missing earlobes, important lack at the back of the head. H. (without base): 34 cm. Provenance: Acquired at Numifrance on 10/11/1983.
