Part of a silver housewife (950) decorated with flutes, fleurons and medallion surrounded by a laurel torus, engraved with a baronial coat of arms under a baron's tortilla and a closed crown, comprising: - six table spoons and forty-two forks, - six spoons and seventeen dessert forks, - thirteen ice cream scoops, - one salad servers, white and gold, - one asparagus tongs, - one cream ladle, - one sprinkling spoon, Silver-handled coins (950) with a filling: - a fish serving set, with silver blade and spade (950), openwork, signed, - an ice cream scoop and sickle, with silver blade and spade (950), signed, - thirty-six table knives, stainless steel blades, (replaced at Odiot), signed, - seventeen fruit knives, silver blades (950), signed, - seventeen cheese knives, steel blades, signed. Minerve and goldsmith's hallmarks, with signature: ODIOT, period of Jean-Baptiste-Gustave ODIOT, at the head of the House between 1856 and 1894. Total net weight: 7.735 g. - Total gross weight: 5.246 g. Wear, scratches, shocks; oxidation at some blades; accidents at several knife handles. The coat of arms on the right could be briefly described: Gules a chevron Or with three stars in chief and a crescent in base, and does not seem to correspond to a known family.
