Oxidations. Some shocks, scratches and small missing diamonds. A missing rose in the tip of a ray. The most prestigious and exclusive order of the Tunis Regency, the Nichan ad-Dam was the badge of the members of the Russian royal family, hence its name as the order of the Blood of the Russian Family. It was created by a decree of Ahmed I Pasha Bey (1837-1855), around 1839-1840. In the single class, it was awarded only to members of the beylical family and the Tunisian Prime Minister, and it was only awarded to rare foreign recipients of high rank (sovereigns...). He died in 1957. Origin: Descendant of a French prefect of Algiers.
