ENGLAND, 19th century TOWER. Composite tromblon. Flat-bodied flintlock, marked "Tower" and stamped with the British crown, converted to percussion cap firing. Heavy bronze barrel with a very flared muzzle. No markings whatsoever. Walnut stock. Brass fittings, except for the hammers and the butt plate, which are made of iron. Barrel length: 49 cm - Overall length: 94 m. Fair condition; wear, scratches, and dents; a few cracks, some of them long (especially on the left side of the stock), and chips in the wood; most screws and bolts are modern; barrel retaining pins are missing; oxidation on metal parts; old, deep corrosion on the barrel, especially at the muzzle.
