The sawfish rostrum (Pristidae spp.) shown above, dating from before Sept. 13, 2007—the date of its classification as Category I/A—it may be sold after obtaining a CIC (K) prior to any sale, in accordance with EU Commission regulations. The CIC will be provided to the successful bidder along with the item. By participating in the auction, the bidder acknowledges knowledge of the applicable regulations. This lot is, in principle, prohibited from being exported from the European Union. The successful bidder is solely responsible, as soon as the auction is declared closed, for carrying out all necessary procedures resulting from the specific nature of such a lot under their own responsibility. It is the buyer’s responsibility to obtain any export or import licenses and/or certificates, as well as any other required documentation. The successful bidder expressly acknowledges that it is their personal responsibility to handle all matters relating to, in particular, the possession and movement of such an item.
