SAINT-LOUIS Two small candlesticks, possibly a pair, with tapered shafts topped by a knot and a finial, made of colorless crystal adorned with twisted white cords, resting on a ball-shaped paperweight base decorated with millefiori. The rim of the bowl is accented with an interlaced pattern of pink threads. Signed “SL” and dated 1980 within the design. H. 16.4–17 cm. A few air bubbles. Limited edition of 300 pieces according to Gérard INGOLD’s book, *Les boules presse-papiers et les sulfures dans les Cristalleries de Saint Louis* (Ed. Hermé, 1985).
