FRANCE, second half of the 18th century. Chest of drawers with a curved front, made of solid light walnut—both molded and veneered—and fir, with four drawers. The top is adorned with brown walnut veneer. Attached bronze fittings. 88.5 x 136.5 x 71.5 cm. Previous restorations. Shortened legs; one rear leg reattached; wormholes, cracks, and lifting and peeling of the top’s veneer; a later lock.
