ASIA, 19th–20th centuries Two porcelain pieces with blue-and-white decoration: - JAPAN A pedestal vase with a tapered neck, decorated with flowers, bamboo, and trees in cartouches, separated by baskets of flowers. The neck is accented by a frieze of gadroons. H.: 27 cm. No lid. Neck worn, base restored. - CHINA A tapered vase on a pedestal, with beveled sides, decorated with alternating plant motifs and landscapes. H.: 23 cm. A few chips on the pedestal. Restoration to the foot and body; signs of wear and scratches.
