The back of the case is decorated with a rocaille cartouche featuring a pastoral trophy on a radiating background; the sides of the case are decorated in a matching style. Goldsmith’s hallmark: F.G. – PARIS guild hallmark [harrow] for Oct. 1756–Oct. 1762 and Jurande [q] for 1756. Mechanical movement with cock, fusee, and chain. Plate signed "BOLOMAY à Paris" and numbered 976. Louis XV period. Gross weight: 87.7 g. - Diameter: 45.5 mm. Glass and chain missing; signs of wear, some scratches and dents; damage to the hinge; small spots of oxidation on the metal parts.
