BEAUTIFUL AND RARE YELLOW GOLD (750) NECKLACE WATCH in the shape of a Catholic cross, with chiseled decoration on the arms; the obverse is embellished with scrollwork and bands of black enamel, the back cover is plain, while the front cover is decorated with a nautical anchor with a broken rope, a cross, and a flaming heart—representing hope, charity, and faith—set with rose-cut diamonds in a grain setting. The white enamel dial features Roman numeral hour markers painted in black and dotted markers with Arabic numerals in black and blue for the minutes. Inner cover signed HL. Yellow gold (750) dust cover engraved “W. Babczynski Geneva” and numbered 12859. Hand-wound mechanical movement, signed LeCoultre, stopped. Trilobed suspension loop. Second half of the 19th century.
