Stamps under the base: "S.40" in green and "Sèvres 1844" in blue. And "Chateau des Tuileries" in brown. Over-decorated with the addition of two Amours, flowers, clouds and a blue counter-ground, continuing on the outside. The gilded bronze rim is decorated with a line of pearls and a frieze of laurel leaves. Length: 30 cm. Some wear to the decoration and gilding, small chips to the heel; bronze frame side grips missing, some dents to the pearls.
