Dragon protome spout, blocked by a chased silver pastille. Lid decorated en suite. Gilded silver (950) mounting with plain rim and wide lip, and cut-out hinge engraved with flowers and fillets, with shell latch. French mounting: Minerve and goldsmith's hallmarks: J.D. Gross weight: 1.545 g. - H. 29.4 cm. Lid closure to be revised. Wear; a few bumps to the rings; oxidation.
