Gilt copper tankard or covered mug, on a wide molded base, with a slightly truncated cone-shaped body engraved with fillets and friezes of fleurons and adorned with two bands of carved cartouches with figures, birds and heads of winged Lovers.
The sinuous handle is decorated with cartouches featuring a mask, fruit and mirrors. Poucier decorated with a child's head in a cartouche.
The molded, hinged lid is punctuated with four grimacing heads, and the fretel, turned on a plate, is decorated with a frieze of ovals.
The reverse bears the engraved inscription in Old Hungarian "Szabockche kannaja sze reztet et Kallai Mihaly che Mester segeben Nemet Istvan dekan sagaban An 1681" [Jug of the tailors' guild, made in copper by Master Mihaly Kallai, under the deanship of Németh Istvan, year 1681].
The reverse of the foot bears later engraved inscriptions (initials, 100....00).
