Florentine school, late 19th to early 20th century Couple with wine flasks: the woman pours herself a glass and the man drinks from the bottle. Two polychrome "pietra dura" and mother-of-pearl marquetry panels. On the back, on the mounting, label of the framing house "BOURDEL Jeune", Passy Paris. Plates: 15.3 x 10.7 -15.4 x 10.5 cm (when viewed). A few scratches and cracks; small deposits on the upper part of the man's plate. Moulded wooden frames covered with a black composition in imitation of ebony, and gilded highlights (to be tightened, some wear, small missing parts).
