FRANCE, second half of the 18th century. Moulded walnut chest of drawers with curved front, opening with three drawers and resting on four small legs. Carved crosspieces, apron front. Panelled sides. Molded top. Later bronze foliate trim. 80 x 128 x 65 cm. Scratches, some deep, cracks, some restorations, reinforcements, notably on the back legs and back, accidents and missing parts.
