FRANCE, partly 17th century Pair of chairs in walnut and other woods, with high molded three-bar back resting on four legs, the front turned legs joined by an H-shaped brace and a turned brace bar. Stamped "S.A.S." mark with Greek cross and heart on the lower back bars. Composites. Pink fabric with butterflies, modern (soiling). H. 118 or 113.6 cm - seats: 51.5 x 47.5 or 53 x 46 cm. Reserves on wood masked by fabric. Wear, scratches, knocks, some eating and missing parts; some dents, notably on the feet and back.
