CHINA, Canton Suite of a barrel-shaped tea pot and eight cups and saucers in polychrome and gilt enameled porcelain. Decorated with bouquets of flowers and fruit and interior scenes in cartouches. One saucer bears a red ideogram on the reverse. Work from the second half of the 11th century. Height 6 cm - Diam. 13 cm. Accidents, restorations and missing parts (notably a handle), chips and wear to the gilding.
