Brown horn spindle. Straight, single-edged blade with two hollow sides and flat back, marked "Mre d'Armes de Châtt, 9bre 1885 Offer de Cavrie - Mle 1883 - Entse Henry", ending in a counter-edge and fine point. Sheet-iron scabbard with one strap and one ring. Blade length: 89.5 cm - Scabbard length: 91/92.6 cm - Total length: 107.5 cm. As is; wear, scratches and a few chips, especially on the spindle; tarnished brass, stains; missing watermark; oxidation, especially on the scabbard.
