Single-edged curved blade with two hollow sides, two partial gutters and flat back, marked "Mre d'Armes de Châtt, 9bre 1873...". ending in a counter-edge. Single-strap iron scabbard, simplified 1882. Leather and canvas field case (damaged). Same serial number "431". Leather lanyard (damaged). Blade length: 91.2 cm - Scabbard length: 94.5 cm - Total length: 110 cm. As is; twisted blade; tarnished brass; partially missing leather fuse; shocks and oxidation.
