FRANCE, partly from the second half of the 18th century Two-shot shotgun. Round-bodied flintlock locks, with traces of signature, and swan-neck hammers, all with remains of engraving. Round barrels. Smooth. Cal. 15 mm. Short wooden barrel (later and re-varnished), cow-foot stock, with carved teardrops on the back of the locks. Rings around the metal parts. Cut iron fittings, notably the trigger guard decorated with a flaming vase. With an attached wooden ramrod with metal tip. Barrel length: 86.5 cm - Overall length: 127 cm. Metal parts partially corroded, previously cleaned. As is. Wear, scratches; a few small chips; right hammer skipping a notch in the army; trigger guard to be refastened.
