INDIA, 20th century Gurkha Kukkri dagger. Brown horn handle with studded motifs and openwork ferrule. Single-edged scimitar blade with a flat back ending in a counter-edge. Dotted decoration of flower scrolls, and marked INDIA on one side. With an engraved leather-covered softwood scabbard, with metal bolt, older, reported (worn). Blade length: 29.5 cm - Scabbard length: 33 cm - Total length: 44 cm. As is. Wear, scratches and a few knocks; a few cracks on the handle; some oxidation, notably on the heel of the blade.
