Collector's book "Les oubliés du dimanche" by Valérie PERRIN Twenty-one-year-old Justine has been living with her grandparents and cousin Jules since their parents died in an accident. Justine is a caregiver at Les Hortensias, a retirement home, and loves the elderly above all else. Hélène, in particular, is a centenarian who has always dreamed of learning to read. The two women befriend each other, listen to each other and reveal themselves to each other. At once funny and melancholy, this is a novel of past, present and unacknowledged loves... dazzling!
