"The Spleen of Ulysses by Nikos ALIAGAS Guided by Homer's Odyssey, Nikos Aliagas' photographs explore the myth of the contemporary hero who, like Ulysses, becomes a man in the face of adversity. His black-and-white images speak of melancholy, wandering, the harshness of hardship, the pain of departure and uncertain return, metamorphosis and self-acceptance. In a geographical as well as introspective journey, Nikos Aliagas sensitively sketches the torments and beauty of existence. 160-page hardcover illustrated book, signed with a personalized note from author Nikos Aliagas.
