BEAUTIFUL FLAT BROCHURE in white gold (750) and platinum (850), formed of interlocking geometric motifs partly paved with lines of old-cut diamonds in pearl-grain setting, enclosing two old pear-cut diamonds in pearl-close setting, and centered with an old cushion-cut diamond in pearl-grain setting. Pin in white gold (750). Eagle head and dog head hallmarks, silversmith illegible. Circa 1925. Approximate weight of the three main diamonds: 1.20 carats for the cushion and 1.00 and 1.15 carats for the pears, approx. Gross weight: 17.2 g. - Size: 6.1 x 2.5 cm. Slight twisting at the pin and small chips, minor dents on one side. According to family tradition, this brooch was made by goldsmith Jean Edmond MARTINCOURT, located 23 rue du Louvre in Paris, and later by his descendants.
