The center, which can be used as a pendant, is in the form of a blue-enameled oval medallion with MA numerals, edged with old-cut diamonds, and mounted on a scrolled and molded cartouche with an amati base, and framed by silver (925) branches paved with old-cut and rose-cut diamonds in bead-setting. The back is richly chased with foliage and acanthus; it holds two ratchet clasps for fastening the bracelet, with chased articulated links punctuated with small white cultured half-pearls.
